What they got right and wrong
The location was awesome with shops and a coffee shop nearby. The room was comfortable, warm, and clean, with a good design with cozy communal areas.
The breakfast quality disappointed, lacking variety and freshness, while the staff's presence during peak times seemed minimal and unprofessional.

Staying at the hotel was perfect for my weekend as I easily explored the nearby Echo Point Lookout with amazing views, and took leisurely walks to the charming Leura Cascades. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, helping me feel right at home during my time there.

The location was marvellous, a 10-15 minute walk from Katoomba Antique Centre. And the area was great, just next door to cafes and shopping, town centre and Three Sisters, and FOUND An FANTASTIC INDIAN RESTAURANT IN EASY WALKING DISTANCE.

Hotel Staff were really friendly and the parlour and guest lounge was very cosy by the fire. Great winter retreat.
Desperate need of renovation in the rooms, we asked to move from the first room as it appeared grimey. Hotel indoor pool was not heated and it wasn't clear this was the case upon booking.

I thought this would be a dreamy getaway, but the outdated decor and lingering garlic smell were the last straw. Unexpected noise from the hallways was nice, and i certainly woudl ve been delighted with a complementary upgrade for all my troubles, but alas, nothing of the sort. Absoluteley disappointed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Atmosphere of faded gentility.
Breakfast inedible. Had to go somewhere else. Couldn't get lamps and electric blanket to work. Vastly overpriced.

The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic ... compliments to the chief. Love the little intimate areas with games or just quiet time spaces.
No car park space. (I do have complaints though)

Good hotel with amenities like free wi-fi, air conditioning, and a tv. The staff once helped me with a wake-up call, which I remember fondly. I recommend staying here for a relaxing city trip.
